Slate & Stone Curated Retreats was inspired by the natural beauty and rugged landscape of the Hocking Hills. Surrounded by sandstone ridges, winding creeks, forests, and private hiking trails, this place was created to help guests slow down and reconnect with nature.

As a family-run, veteran-owned retreat in the Hocking Hills region of southern Ohio, we’ve always believed hospitality is about how a place makes you feel. The cabins were thoughtfully designed to reflect the textures, tones, and understated beauty of the surrounding landscape while offering a warm, elevated place to unwind.

From winding trails to weathered wood, much of Slate & Stone was inspired by the quiet Appalachian character of this land. We built this place to be shared, and we welcome guests with the same warmth and care we’d want to experience ourselves.
