We’re Patty and Aaron, the couple behind the day-to-day experience at Slate + Stone — a family-run retreat in the heart of Hocking Hills.

We live nearby and spend much of our time on the property, caring for the land, welcoming guests, and making sure every stay feels intentional and restorative. Slate + Stone was founded by Patty’s parents, Tom and Connie, who live on the property and originally envisioned this as a peaceful escape rooted in nature, connection, and hospitality.

Today, we’re honored to carry that vision forward — blending thoughtful design, guest-first service, and a deep love for the land we’ve all come to call home.
