Tucked along a peaceful wooded ridge, Shagbark Summit offers a quiet retreat with the comforts of a thoughtfully designed cabin. Its private patio and hot tub invite slow mornings and evenings beneath the stars, while nearby trail access makes it easy to explore the forests, sandstone ridges, and scenic paths winding through the property.
Inside, warm natural textures and modern comforts create an inviting place to settle in. A king bed, cozy gas fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and spacious rain shower make unwinding effortless. Thoughtful extras, including locally roasted coffee, plush robes, and fast Starlink Wi-Fi, add a little more comfort to your stay.

GPS Preparation: Load the GPS directions into your navigation system before entering Hocking Hills.
Avoid Harble Griffith Road: Do not use Harble Griffith Road—it is unrelated to Griffith Road and will lead you the wrong way.
Need Help? Directions below start from State Route 33. If you’re coming from another route, or need assistance, message us for customized instructions.

Directions to 21677 Griffith Road, Logan, Ohio 43138
- Take US-33 and Exit #172 for 93-S (Logan/McArthur).
At the end of the ramp, turn left at the stop sign onto 93-S.
Continue on 93-S for approximately 9 miles until you reach the "Y" intersection with Ilesboro Road.
- Turn Right onto Ilesboro Road.
Follow Ilesboro Road for 1.3 miles to Griffith Road.
- Turn Left onto Griffith Road.
Note: Griffith Road is a paved/gravel road on a curve, look for the turn carefully.
- Continue on Griffith Road for 0.5 miles.
The entrance to Slate & Stone will be on your right.
Look for the address displayed on the mailbox and guard rail at the entry.
- Take the Upper Driveway.
Drive 0.1 miles and turn left onto the drive towards the 4 green cabins.
Follow the drive straight up then veer right.
- Arriving at Shagbark Summit.
Shagbark Summit is the last cabin on the right.
Look for the sign by the door.
There is one parking spot to the left of your cabin.
