My husband and I booked a long weekend at Shagbark Summit and loved every minute. The hosts truly thought of everything to make our stay stress free. We even got to enjoy snow while visiting! We highly recommend Slate and Stone cabins and hope to be back in the future.
Thank you, Kendall & David! We appreciate the lovely review, and for staying at Shagbark Summit! We would love to have you back in the future!

Marketing and Communications Specialist, Writer, Musician, and Hairstylist turned Bespoke Vacation Rental Hosts. We’re Aaron and Patty, and we are honored to host you!
A bit about Aaron:
I’m a native Ohioan, Cleveland Browns fanatic (there’s always next year) Rock and Roll Drummer of over 30 years, and a former food truck owner turned corporate Marketing and Communications aficionado. I love slinging my signature Korean Beef Tacos, wrestling with my dogs, talking music, and enjoying a juicy IPA.
A bit about Patty:
I’m a creative, introverted army kid that recently laid down my scissors after a 20 year career as a hairstylist. Always being the new kid instilled in me a deep passion of caring for others and a love of creating warm, welcoming, community-focused environments. I love spending time outdoors with my family hiking, going to festivals, and gardening, and always have to find the local hot spot for coffee when traveling.
